Consent Policy: Your Voice Matters

At Calm Pathways, consent is all about agreement and respect. It means you understand what we are doing together and you are happy for us to go ahead. This policy explains how we work with you and your family to make sure you always feel safe and in control of your journey.

Who Gives Consent?

If you are under 16, I usually need a parent or guardian to sign a form for you. However, young people can often consent for themselves if they fully understand the coaching process. We will talk about this together to find the best way forward for you.

How We Collect Consent

Consent is usually collected through a simple digital or paper form before we start. We also check in during our sessions with a gentle verbal agreement to make sure you are still comfortable with what we are doing.

Withdrawing Consent

Giving consent is completely voluntary. You can change your mind and withdraw it at any time without needing to give a reason. If you do withdraw consent, we will simply stop the coaching sessions immediately and respect your choice.

Safeguarding & Safety

Your safety is my priority. In rare cases, if I have a serious concern that you or someone else is at risk of harm, I have a safeguarding duty to share that information with the right people, even if consent has been withdrawn.

Do you have any questions about how consent works? I am here to help and listen to your concerns.
